I love the belly!

Pork belly that is.
And it isn't a secret.
My friends make fun of me about it. If it is on the menu, I'll be ordering it.

While I was down in Durham I had dinner one night at Tyler's Restaurant and Taproom. The restaurant is located the American Tobacco Historic District and is in a renovated tobacco factory. You know I love a building with history!

It was nice and warm down there in April (as compared to the arctic weather we were having in New York) so we decided to sit outside. As per usual, when we got there I checked in on FourSquare and found out that Tyler's was offering a FourSquare Special, each check in got your table a free order of garlic fries! Done!

As I try to do when I travel, I ordered a local beer - though I can't for the life of me remember what it was, other than it was from Foothills Brewing!

For my entree, I ordered the BBQ Pork Belly Sandwich special. Tender, fatty, pork belly that was barbecued and served on a roll. Why wouldn't I be happy.
